"Luna" (stylized as "LUNA") is a theme in Final Fantasy XV. It was composed and arranged by Yoko Shimomura, and orchestrated by Sachiko Miyano.
It is the character theme of Lunafreya Nox Fleuret.

Lunafreya appears to guide Noctis.
"Luna" plays during the A Nocturne for Heroes collaboration event when Noctis Lucis Caelum mentions to the Warrior of Light about a promise he has to keep. It plays again in the ending cutscene where the Warrior of Light, Kipih Jakkya, and Cid Garlond discuss about seeing a woman "dressed all in white" in the portal before Noctis entered it to return to Eos.

"Luna" plays in a number of cutscenes involving Lunafreya, most notably in the dream world where she speaks to Noctis and passes on the Ring of the Lucii to him. It is track 73 on the Final Fantasy XV: Original Soundtrack.
"Prayer de LUNA" is an arrangement by Yoshitaka Suzuki and Shota Nakama that plays during Lunafreya's speech in Altissia. It is track 68 on the original soundtrack.
"True Love" is an arrangement of "Tenebrae" (an arrangement of "Prologue" from Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV) and "Luna" by Suzuki that plays when Shiva conveys Lunafreya's thoughts to Noctis. It is track 17 on disc 2 of the Final Fantasy XV Original Soundtrack Volume 2.
The theme of "Luna" is present in "I Promise", composed and arranged by Suzuki. It plays after Noctis receives the Trident of the Oracle from Shiva. It is track 18 on disc 2 of the Final Fantasy XV Original Soundtrack Volume 2.
In the Royal Edition and Windows Edition, "Advent of the Apocalypse" plays when Lunafreya summons all the Astrals to pierce through Ardyn Izunia's magical barrier. It contains motifs from "Song of the Stars", "Apocalypsis Noctis", and "Luna", and was arranged by Suzuki. "Advent of the Apocalypse" is track 80 on disc 1 of the Final Fantasy XV Original Soundtrack Volume 2.

"Moonlit Melodies" (夜に満ちる律べ, Yoru ni Michiru Ritsu be?, lit. Night Full of Rhythms) is an arrangement by Yoko Shimomura where she interpolated "Luna" into "Noctis", orchestrated by Sachiko Miyano. It plays in the credits of the Royal Edition and Windows Edition. It is track 84 on disc 1 of the Final Fantasy XV Original Soundtrack Volume 2.
Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV[]
"Luna" first appears in the film, orchestrated by Sachiko Miyano and the strings performed by the EIS Masters Orchestra. The piano was performed by Yui Morishita.[1] It is track 14 on disc 1 of the Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV: Original Soundtrack.

"Luna" was performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios on September 7, 2016.
Piano Collections Final Fantasy XV Concert[]
"Blest Be the Moonlight -LUNA-" was performed live for the concert in 2017. The pianist for the Tokyo performance in May was Yui Morishita (Duke of Pianeet) and the pianist for the Osaka performance June was Hiroyuki Nakayama. The recording from the Osaka performance on June 2, 2017 was released in disc 2 on the Blu-ray disc version of the Final Fantasy XV Original Soundtrack Volume 2.
"Moonlit Melodies" was performed as the encore of the concert. It was also recorded and released on the original soundtrack.
Symphonic Memories Concert - music from Square Enix[]
"Luna" is part of "FINAL FANTASY XV - In the Shadow of the Crystal", the first movement of the symphony at the orchestra concert, performed live at the Culttz Kawasaki concert hall on December 14, 2019. It was arranged by Jonne Valtonen, conducted by Eckehard Stier, and performed by the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra. It was recorded as track 2 on disc 1 of the album.

A piano solo of "Moonlit Melodies" was arranged and performed by Yoko Shimomura and uploaded on her official channel.[2] It is a sketch version of "Moonlit Melodies" from the Royal Edition before its official arrangement, titled "-Version d'esquisses-". Before the official title was decided, it was called "NOCTIS and LUNA".
