- Drotrois Cald
Ray Jack and Kaliva travel to Luczak's home wherein the latter humbly welcome to them to his abode. After being some benna tea by Luczak, Ray Jack asks about the disease Drotois cald. He explains that a village is afflicted the disease and that they are lacking in the elixir to remedy it. Kaliva states that they have come to Luczak for assistance with mixing the elixir as he is the most gifted in the realm. Luczak tells the duo about how busy he's been recently but states that he can't refuse a request from his master's greatest friend. In accepting the quest, Luczak tells Ray Jack and Kaliva that he can't find the ingredients alone, to which Ray Jack mentions that he'll assist with procuring the ingredients.
- A Fair Price
Ray Jack, Kaliva and Luczak ask a merchant to procure the final ingredient for their elixir. The merchant and his servant attempt to sell the lupin petals required for five hundred thousand zell. Luczak states that the price is near extortion while the merchant retorts that the price resulted from demand going up. An outrage Ray Jack yells at the merchant and is stopped by Luczak who states that they should not waste time talking to scum. Luczak suggests that the party travel to where the lupin flowers grow so that they may acquire its petals.

Tonio expresses his delight in the fact that Luczak has managed to make the elixir. He asks Kaliva about the difference between elixirs and regular medicine, with the latter stating that an elixir is essentially a healing spell that can be preserved, stored and used by anyone. Tonio is surprised by Luczak's ability, having thought him a greedy mage at first. Having arrived at Luczak's home, Luczak gives the trio the elixir for the village. Suddenly, the merchant's servant arrives at Luczak's home and begs of the mage's assistance. His master has gone ill with the disease and asks Luczak for a sliver of the elixir. Ray Jack asks why they need it if they already have the ingredients, with the servant mentioning that the mage they had hired had failed. Luczak agrees to give the elixir to the servant for five hundred thousand zell. The servant expresses disbelief at the amount and walks out of Luczak's home. Tonio states that the merchant got what he deserved while Ray Jack expresses some remorse for the diseased merchant. Luczak states that Ray Jack can give the elixir to anyone and Ray Jack decides to talk to Luczak's last visitor about it. Luczak lets out a sigh.
