The Lost Gold, also known as the Roaming Gold Coin, is an enemy from Final Fantasy III. It was a dummied monster in the NES version, but despite that, it appeared in walkthroughs. This monster finally made a formal appearance as a rare monster of Goldor Manor in the 3D versions of the game, in the room with the golden swords. Lost Golds are more common in the pixel remaster version, and can appear in any room.
Stats[]
Battle[]
It is not a difficult enemy to defeat. The player should be carrying several Maiden's Kisses in case they encounter the enemy, as it can cast the Toad spell, and should also be wary of its physical attacks, as it can inflict Confuse with them. Their Blizzara spell can deal decent damage, and should be healed as soon as possible with Cure.
Etymology[]
Gold is a chemical element with the symbol Au and atomic number 79. It is a dense, soft, malleable and ductile metal with a bright yellow color and luster, the properties of which remain without tarnishing when exposed to air or water.
