The Lordly Robes, also known as Lordly Robe, Robe of Lords (ローブオブロード, Robu obu Lōdo?), Robe of the Lord, Monarch's Robe, or Lord's Robe, is usually the ultimate piece of armor for spellcaster classes in the Final Fantasy series. It usually provides average Defense, but provides a huge boost to Magic stats.

The Lordly Robes are available in the Final Fantasy 20th Anniversary release. They grant 37 Defense, 5 Evasion, 1 Weight, 20 Intelligence, and they regenerate 10% of the max HP of their wearer at the end of the party's turn. They are one of the possible rewards for defeating Chronodia, and they serve as exclusive armor for the White Wizard (in which they are also the most powerful body armor the White Wizard can equip).

Description
The Robe of Lords only appears in the Advance and Complete Collection versions. It provides 19 Defense, 18 Magic Defense, 5 Evasion, 15 Magic Evasion, +10 Stamina and Spirit, and elemental resistance against fire, ice and lightning. It can be found in the Cave of Trials. It can only equipped by Porom.

The Robe of Lords provide 19 Defense, 18 Magic Defense, 10 Stamina, 10 Spirit, 5 Evasion, and 16 Magic Evasion. It also grants resistance to all elements. Itcan be found in the Depths of the True Moon. It is worn by Cecil, Ceodore. Rosa, Porom, or Leonora.

Description
The Robe of Lords give +1 to Magic and have 18 Defense, 22 Magic Defense, 24 Magic Evasion and 2 Weight. It can be found in the Lethe Court section of the Sealed Temple, a bonus dungeon in the Advance and discontinued 2013 versions. It can be equipped by White Mages, Black Mages, Time Mages, Summoners, Blue Mages, Red Mages, Chemists, Geomancers, Bards, Dancers, Oracles, Cannoneers, Necromancers and Mimes.

The Robe of Lords teaches Reflect-Null and Concentrate and immunizes against Wind.
It can be equipped by Dagger, Vivi, Eiko, and Quina, the party's spellcasters. It can be stolen from Hades, Ozma, and Quale, bought for 10,000 points in Chocobo Hot and Cold, received as a prize if the player delivers twelve Stellazzio coins to Queen Stella, and synthesized from a White Robe and a Black Robe in the Legendary Synthesis Shop for 30,000 gil after Hades has been defeated.

In the original version, Lordly Robes are the ultimate mystic armor, providing 40 Defense, 5 Strength, and 15 Magic Power. They are a rare treasure in the Henne Mines (Special Charter Dig) and the Subterra area of the Pharos. To equip them, the character needs to unlock the Mystic Armor 12 license on the License Board for 100 LP.
In the Zodiac versions, Lordly Robes are still the ultimate mystic armor, providing 61 Defense, 100 MP, 5 Strength, 15 Magick Power, and requiring the Mystic Armor 13 license for 110 LP. They can be found as a treasure in Henne Mines (Special Charter Shaft) and Cerobi Steppe (The Northsward), purchased through the Hunt Club sidequest, and rarely stolen from Ultima in Trial Mode Stage 95 and Zodiark in Stage 97. They can be equipped by the White Mage, Red Battlemage, Black Mage, and Bushi.

The Lordly Robes is Kytes's ultimate armor. It provides +50 Defense, +100 Magick Defense, and +5 to all other stats. It is acquired after clearing "Mission 79: Wings of Midnight".
