The lonesome lass is an unnamed character who appeared during the seasonal event Little Ladies' Day in 2018 in Final Fantasy XIV. She was a young girl who had been tricked and kidnapped during Little Ladies' Day years ago.

Early life[]
The young girl had always been enchanted by the stories she heard from her mother about the seneschals who embarked on great adventures to fulfill the wishes of those they chose as princesses. She dreamed more than anything of joining the celebration and becoming a princess for a day. During the celebration, the young girl disappeared and her family concluded that she had been tricked by a false seneschal. At the time a group of men were seducing and luring girls into alleys, then taking them away to be sold.
Little Ladies' Day 2018[]
Many years later, while the Songbirds were performing their performance during the celebration, they spotted a lonely and seemingly lost young girl. Knowing they cannot leave their tight performance schedule, the royal seneschal enlists the help of the Warrior of Light to locate this girl.
The Warrior of Light finds the young girl and she says she has lost a necklace and a pair of earrings, which were a gift from her parents, and she is too preoccupied to enjoy the day's festivities. After the Warrior of Light offers to help her search, she says she remembers where they were lost, but rather than explain in words, she draws a picture of the location. The Warrior of Light finds a necklace and earrings at the scene, however they are very old and worn.

The young girl is thrilled to see the jewels. She is seized by ardor with a seneschal coming to her rescue, saying that she finally knows what it means to be treated like a princess for a day. Before she leaves to celebrate Little Ladies' Day, she makes one final request: to give her necklace and earrings to a man named Tobyn in Crescent Cove. As the Warrior of Light begins to leave the place, the young girl bids him farewell, but by the time the Warrior turns around, the girl is gone.
Tobyn takes the jewelry in his hands and quickly turns pale. He hesitantly concludes that the young girl the Warrior of Light found was the spirit of his dead aunt. He explains that when he was still a baby, his aunt disappeared during Little Ladies' Day, and his family believing she was kidnapped and sold for some nefarious purpose. The reason for his ghostly visit to Ul'dah, he believes, is that she never had the opportunity to enjoy Little Ladies' Day and be treated like a princess, and this was keeping her spirit trapped in the mortal world. But, thanks to the Warrior of Light, her spirit has been set free. The royal seneschal is shocked to hear this. Although he finds her story implausible, he takes comfort in knowing that the girl's spirit has finally been allowed to rest.[1]
