Lohengrin (ローエングリン, Rōengurin?) is a recurring sword in the series. It is generally a mid-ranked sword with decent attack power, but no special abilities.

The Lohengrin is a mid-ranked sword that provides 47 Attack and 5% combo rate. Swords are among the slower weapons with 2.88s charge, and 1.2s action time. Lohengrin can be bought for 4,500 gil at Jahara, Mt Bur-Omisace, and Rabanastre, and requires 40 LP and the Swords 3 license to equip.
When Amalia/Ashe is first met in the Garamsythe Waterway (East Sluice Control), she wields the Lohengrin against Imperial soldiers. When she later joins the party as a guest, her main weapon changes to the Longsword.
In the Zodiac versions, it provides 40 Attack, 5 Evade, 32 CT, 5% combo rate, and requires the Swords 4 license for 50 LP. It can be bought in Rabanastre, Nam-Yensa Sandsea, Tomb of Raithwall, Jahara, and Balfonheim Port for 3,200 gil, or found as a treasure in Nam-Yensa Sandsea (Simoon Bluff).

Description
The Lohengrin is a mid to high-ranked knightsword, usable by the Paladin, Defender, and Templar classes. It provides 46 Attack and teaches Aura to Defenders for 300 AP and Haste to Templars. It can be bought from all shops after the second shop inventory upgrade.
Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift[edit | edit source]
The Lohengrin is a mid-ranked knightsword, usable by the Paladin, Defender, Templar, Chocobo Knights, and Heritor. It provides 43 Attack, and teaches Aura to Defenders for 400 AP and Haste to Templars for 250 AP. It can be obtained from the Bazaar through the Battle-tested Swords C category.

Lohengrin is a mid-level Holy Sword. It provides 91 attack power, +3 Strength, and +2 Wisdom. It can be bought for 25,000 gil from Moogle Cave or Castle Lux (The Void).

Etymology[edit | edit source]
Lohengrin is a character in German Arthurian literature. The son of Parzival (Percival), he is a knight of the Holy Grail sent in a boat pulled by swans to rescue a maiden who can never ask his identity.
