Well then, how about we begin?
Lilyth
Lilyth is one of the main characters of War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. She is the captain of the Caelum division, serving directly under crown prince Mont Leonis and being one of his closest advisors and lieutenants. She is also known as the Blaze of the Battlefield.
Profile[]
Appearance[]
Lilyth is a tan-skinned woman with long wavy orange hair with a green ribbon. She dons a revealing set of black armor with flowing red clothing that is longer and wider from behind. She wears a pair of armored boots with her right legging being longer and has several belts attached on her left leg. She wears a pair of bulbous sleeves that expose her shoulders and armored gloves. She wields her signature Flame Blade in battle, a sword that emphasizes practicality and keeps decorations to a minimum, making it simple yet uniquely elegant and effective. During the course of her two-year solitary travel, she gained several scars on her body.
Personality[]
Lilyth is a stern and serious person who takes battle gravely. Being a seasoned veteran, she has witnessed the horrors of war, which has hardened her disposition, making her believe that war is a matter of kill or be killed. During her initial servitude to Mont, she believed him and his peaceful ideals to be naive, ignorant and even insufferable. Her brother Volke being killed during an attack by Fennes was the last straw, and Lilyth became vengeful, departing her post and threatening Mont if he tried to stop her.
As she fought alone for two years without ever being close to her revenge, Lilyth became nihilistic and sought a place to die. Her experiences with Corwell's resistance and Barale's peaceful beliefs that equaled Mont, made her realize that she didn't seek neither death nor revenge, but ultimately for war to end. It was with Ramada's encouragement that she mustered the will to return to Leonis to serve once more to achieve her ideal. From what point onwards, Lilyth and Ramada have been close friends and Lilyth relies on Ramada as her right-hand woman and confidant.
Following her return to Leonis, Lilyth has mellowed out. Although still a strict and no nonsense person, she is more supportive of Mont, since their goals align, and has proven herself one of his most loyal and trusted advisors and one of his strongest lieutenants. She is still amazed and taken aback by many of Mont's proposals and actions, sometimes advising against them, yet ultimately following along. Although generally more cautious and prone to battle than Mont, she trusts his judgment and is accustomed to his methods, which have yielded results that have left even Lilyth impressed.
Story[]
Early life[]
Lilyth left her home village to enlist in the Leonis army. She was made to take part on the newly created second division Caelum under Mont. Not long after the unit's formation, they were deployed against Fennes forces. Lilyth was about to kill a Fennes soldier pleading for his life, but Mont interfered, allowing the soldier to escape. Lilyth questioned his judgment as war is about kill or being killed; Mont believed the cycle of hatred had to be broken.
News of Fennes raiding her hometown reached Lilyth and she departed immediately, only to find her younger brother dead. Lilyth used this as further proof that Mont was being naive. Mont offered his condolences, but tried to convince her that perpetuating violence was not going to end the war for good. Lilyth furiously departed on a quest for revenge on Muraga Fennes and threatened to kill Mont if he tried to stop her.
She wandered for two years seeking revenge and gained several scars in the process. She encountered a Resistance trying to fend off Rundall forces as they were attempting to take over their land to build an outpost to invade Hourne. Lilyth wanted "a place to die", having abandoned her nation for revenge, but ultimately being unable to even come close to her goal. Corwell, the resistance leader, wondered how someone as strong as her wasn't serving anybody, to which she revealed she abandoned Leonis and Mont whom she deemed insufferable.
Lilyth joined the resistance, who were also aided by two starseers, the sisters Moore and Ramada. Moore made open her decision to leave as he believed the battle was futile. Corwell was set aback at the suggestion of abandoning their land, to which Ramada shared the history of how their own land, deemed sacred, was also destroyed. Moore believed fighting for land was absurd. Seeing that she couldn't be convinced, Corwell wanted to know what her next stop would be, to which Moore replied it was Heindler since it had a submissive relationship to Rundall that could be exploited as a means to sneak inside and witness their downfall. Lilyth stated that being on Heindler's servitude would tantamount to aid Rundall, ending on many innocents getting killed. Moore paid it no mind, to which Lilyth protested that so long as she kept discarding the weak the war would never end. Moore believed she had no reason to call her out since Lilyth had abandoned her land, although Lilyth said it was because she couldn't stand Mont's approach. Moore further pointed out that Lilyth claimed to seek to die, yet remained intent on living, to which Lilyth said her true desire was for the fighting to end. Moore asked if leaving her homeland and wandering alone would end wars, further stating she wasn't driven by emotion unlike Lilyth and that everything she did was to make sure Rundall was destroyed, increasing her chances even if by a little. Moore asked Ramada to join her, but Ramada decided to stay, so the sisters parted ways. Lilyth questioned Ramada on her decision, to which she replied she wanted to see the "waking of the lion", which confused Lilyth, although she was grateful that Ramada stood with her.
As the Rundall forces cornered the resistance, Lilyth asked Corwell for his next move and was willing to serve as a negotiator. Corwell wanted to fight until the end since he still had fond memories of his land. Lilyth asked if he could not simply settle elsewhere, to which Corwell asked if land that others died to protect meant nothing to her, and vowed to not forsake the memories they held dear. Lilyth and the Rundall commander Barale crossed blades. Barale pleaded Lilyth to stop and offered her assurances to which she was confused, since they were overpowered and killing them would be an easy feat. Barale asked whether war would end if either of them died, and that the cycle of hatred had to be broken if war was to stop for good. Lilyth was reminded of Mont's words, which piqued the interest of Barale as he had heard about Mont's aversion to violence. Although Lilyth considered Mont a coward who would make an easy prey, Barale disagreed. Exchanging names, Barale convinced Lilyth into trying to negotiate a peaceful abandonment of the land. Lilyth succeeded and apologized to Corwell for doing so little. Corwell was grateful to her and Ramada for their help and admitted he couldn't ultimately stand for his allies to be killed. Corwell declared his intentions to settle somewhere else in peace, to prepare to retake their land. Lilyth asked to accompany him, but Corwell turned her down, knowing she sought peace and not revenge.
Lilyth asked Ramada what she would do, and Ramada promised to accompany her. Although this surprised Lilyth, Ramada knew that Lilyth was seeking to return to Leonis. Lilyth was pensive on whether they would forgive her, to which Ramada assured her they would. The two reached the kingdom and Lilyth was welcomed back into Caelum serving under Mont once more.
Main story[]
In a last-ditch attempt to save Ramada, Lilyth tries to sacrifice herself to stay Muraga. Vallaide, Little Leela and Sosha intervene and attempt to rescue the duo. Their efforts are in vain as Muraga kills Vallaide while the four can only watch. As Little Leela and Sosha become unable to move due to their fear, Engelbert, Frederika and Lorenzo arrive to confront Muraga.
When Mont arrives he sees Lilyth and all of his companions seemingly slain by Muraga, although Little Leela and Sosha are nowhere to be seen. The aftermath of the battle with Muraga reveals that Lilyth as well as several others had survived the battle.
Event story[]
After defeating the bombs, Yerma and Etre arrive at Leonis Castle is. Yerma asks Etre where the handsome prince is.[1] Etre says Sterne has duties to the crown and doesn't think he'd be hanging out where they are. Yerma agrees and laughs. An angry Lilyth descends the steps and asks who they are. Etre whispers to Yerma that Lilyth doesn't seem friendly. Yerma says that just because Lilyth is in a bad mood, that doesn't mean she has to take it out on them.
Lilyth inches closer to the duo and tells them she can hear them whispering. The duo is shocked and Yerma apologizes. Lilyth smiles and introduces herself, telling them to forgive her as things are hectic at the moment. Fennes's soldiers are near their border so she's pressed with dealing with them. Yerma asks what a Fennes is, with Lilyth curious that she doesn't know. Fennes is the country neighboring Leonis to the northeast, Lilyth stating it's full of savages and led by a monster named Muraga. She explains Fennes comes raging into Leonis territory time and time again. Etre confirms it sounds like a pain. Lilyth asks the duo to state their purpose. Etre introduces herself and Yerma, while Yerma explains they want to enlist in Fortem.
Lilyth is surprised they want to enlist while a panicked Etre whispers to Yerma that she was awfully blunt about it. An aggressive Yerma states that it's fine as they will be able to meet with Prince Sterne by doing this. Lilyth smiles at the notion that they're after Sterne, while pointing out that for someone who likes to whisper, they sure don't mind being overheard. Yerma asks if Lilyth will accept them into Fortem. Lilyth says that three days ago, a woman paladin tried to join Fortem and was given the enlistment exam to clear out a nearby cave full of skeletons. Lilyth laughs that the paladin hasn't come back and may have been eaten up. An uncertain Etre is at a loss for words, while Lilyth asks what they would like to do.
Lilyth gives Etre and Yerma the choice of vanquishing skeletons in a cave or running home with their tails between their legs. Yerma declares that fighting the skeletons will be an easy victory. Lilyth notices their determination, with Yerma aggressively telling Etre that they should go now. An uncertain Etre agrees. Etre and Yerma find themselves in a dark cave with many crystals. They meet the young Paladin Nasha who was sent there ahead of them and learn she also wants to marry Prince Sterne. Though they consider her their rival, they join forces to defeat the skeleton boss and return to Leonis Castle.[2]
The trio makes their way back to Leonis Castle, tired and elated that they've passed the enlistment exam.[3] Yerma believes they'll need to achieve something greater to catch Lilyth off guard. Etre recalls Lilyth mentioned that Fennes's soldiers have been appearing at the border and was pressed with dealing with them. Nasha deduces they would need to give the Fennes troops a thorough beating. Yerma confirms and says that Sterne would then have to give them his attention, no matter how much Lilyth objects to it.
En route to the border with Fennes, the trio finds themselves in a grass area with a waterfall, surrounded by fallen Fennes troops.[4] They meet Prince Mont here and lie that they were the ones who dealt with the enemy soldiers. They explain their motivation for defeating the Fennes soldiers. Mont deduces it must have been an order from Lilyth. Etre says they'll do whatever they can to join Fortem. Yerma says that if they get the credit for defeating the Fennes soldiers, they might be able to achieve their dream. Mont promises to talk to Sterne about what he can do, as if the three of them are this capable, it would only prove beneficial for Leonis. Etre is elated, while Mont asks if they can all go back to the castle together.
Upon their arrival Lilyth greets Mont and asks why he's with the trio. She laughs it off and wonders if Mont had to save them as they were running away from the cave. Mont explains the situation to Lilyth, who is shocked. Nasha says the mean lady's era is over while Etre and Yerma are glad to be vindicated. Sterne arrives and asks what all the clamoring's about. Yerma notes that Sterne's aura is intense and he is incredibly strong and handsome. Mont tells Sterne the trio wants to join Fortem. Sterne asks what Mont thinks. Mont says the trio single-handedly routed the Fennes threat by the border. Lilyth says it was pure luck but Mont thinks they show promise. With Mont's judgment, Sterne allows them to enlist. Lilyth is aghast while the trio is elated. Lilyth says that if they enlisted, they would call it quits before long.

Vision cards[]
- Fleeting Tranquility
Lilyth, commander of «Caelum», and her right-hand woman Ramada take a moment to read the stars. Though they are both knights, Lilyth is more the type to cut through the vanguard while Ramada would assess the situation calmly from afar. Nevertheless, Lilyth seeks counsel from Ramada for all manner of things, and Ramada trusts Lilyth deeply in their mutual duty to protect Prince Mont. The moments they cherish the most are those when they're raising a toast to something they accomplished together. Their mugs are filled to the brim with Ramada's specially brewed tea. The conversation flowing between them is jovial and lighthearted—although sometimes it's filled with colorful rumors about the boys accompanying them.

- Path to Revenge
There was a span of roughly two years when Lilyth was away from Leonis. The catalyst for this was her younger brother Volke's death during the war with Fennes. Clutching his lacerated body, she vowed to set out for revenge. As for what exactly happened during those two years, she is not moved to divulge the details, even to Mont. Be it as it may that she has always been an outstanding swordswoman, it is not difficult to imagine how her intention to exact revenge on the king of an entire nation all by herself was a reckless endeavor. It is said that she devotedly pursued Muraga's ceaselessly battling military forces across cold climates and rugged terrain, seeking just a single momentary opening. Most of the scars covering her body are from this period. Though she ultimately returned without having achieved revenge, her eyes are still alert to any possible chance of exacting it.

- A Mighty Obstacle
"...Don't let it get you down, Etre. All three of us together, we're honestly more than a match for Lilyth. But the mock battle ended in us getting a thorough hiding. I've been wondering how it happened, but I'm starting to think that her strength lies in her powerful resolve—to wage her life and fight as Lord Mont's sword."
"Yerma..."
"The day will come when Lord Sterne needs us, and we will have to put our very lives on the line for him. I'm going to find the strength and resolve to do that. Lilyth may be a mighty obstacle, but we can't let that stop us, right?"
"Thanks for cheering me up. I'm going to get stronger, too. And once we take down Lilyth, I'll marry Lord Sterne!"
"Hehe, that's the spirit. May the best girl win!"Vision card description

- Second Division of the Kingdom of Leonis, «Caelum»
Both of Leonis's princes oversee their own division. While Prince Sterne holds a tight rein over «Fortem», Prince Mont's division, «Caelum», is frequently described as a motley crew. One reason for this is Mont's overt kindness and oft-mocked method of selecting soldiers. While the division's commander, Lilyth, is a skilled warrior known as the Blaze of the Battlefield, both the overproud Baelo and archer Learte are Mont's childhood playmates. Factoring in Ramada—part tactician, part astrologer—there are many who decry the main members' paltry wartime experience. Yet rather than hold the front lines, «Caelum» acts as an adaptive unit. Where the members lack in fighting power, they make up for in their individual talents, and their bonds of friendship are rock-solid.
