History[]
Early life[]
Son of a hunter, Bowlord Lewin whiled away his childhood tracking game through the Twelveswood, bow in hand. Yet, so true did his arrows fly as to catch the attention of the Gods' Quiver, who beckoned him warmly into their ranks. Lewin turned away their entreaties for a time, until tragedy befell him. The love of Lewin's life went missing but a few days after they were married, only to reappear later in the woods—with an Ixali spear in her back. After a humble funeral, Lewin marched directly to the headquarters of the Gods' Quiver, where he has served defending the wood from foes for over thirty years.[1]
Final Fantasy XIV version 1.0[]
Bowlord Lewin is first seen alongside his brother O-App-Pesi when they discover that it was in fact Fye's brother, Dunstan, who brought down the Hedge. Bowlord Lewin has asked the adventurer to help hunt down Dunstan and protect the forest.[2] When Khrimm burns a hedgetree trying to prove that elementals did not exist, Bowlord Lewin and O-App-Pesi alongside a group of soldiers head to the location to stop the enraged elemental. They manage to defeat the elemental, but Khrimm turns out to be a wildling and ends up petrified.[3]
