Profile
Leviathan is a sea creature who appears similarly to an eel. He is largely purple with a turquoise underbelly.
Leviathan's sprite sprite is a modified version of his Final Fantasy V appearance.
Obtained
In South Figaro, the player must talk to the man near the entrance to learn about an underwater creature and go to Nikeah and take the ferry. Halfway through the trip, Leviathan will attack the party, and must be defeated in a boss fight. Once he is defeated, the player receives his magicite.
Battle
Leviathan costs 70 MP to summon. His attack is Tidal Wave, deals heavy water elemental damage to all enemies. His Spell Power is 130.
Magicite
Leviathan is equippable as a magicite. He teaches Flood at a rate of x2, and when leveling up, gives a +2 boost for Stamina.
Boss
Before being acquired as a magicite, Leviathan must first be fought as a boss. Due to his high Water elemental damage, the player should equip relics that defend against or absorb Water damage.
If Mog is in the party for this battle, he can learn the Water Harmony Dance, which was possible to learn only in the World of Balance in previous versions.
