A confident and free-spirited Clavat who is always there when you need him. As a Crystal Bearer with a crystal shard embedded in his right cheek, he can telekinetically control gravity and move objects at will. With an addiction to trouble, he soon finds himself caught up in a battle over crystals.

Layle is a playable character in Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia who can be recruited during Chapter 7 of the main storyline.

Appearance

Layle wears a yellow shirt under a high-collared puffy white jacket with chainmail on the shoulders closed with a large gold clasp. He wears long jean pants with a thin gold belt and blue and white shoes. He has a yellow messenger bag on his right shoulder. He wears goggles around his neck and rings on his right hand. He has a crystal shard embedded in his right cheek.

His alternate costume, Waltz Tuxedo, is a tuxedo worn at the Tribal Unity Ball in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers.

Story

Layle first appears in Chapter 7: Imber Manor. He introduces himself as a member of the Returners. Upon meeting Mog, Layle grabs him with his telekinetic abilities to examine him, much to Mog's chagrin. He warns the party that Mog is not to be trusted, and that taking his instructions at face value will only lead to trouble. Layle also identifies the leader of the Returners as Edgar (much to Terra's surprise and irritation, as Shadow had been part of the group for some time but kept this fact from her).
