Larsa is a guest party member in Final Fantasy XII, initially joining under the guise of Lamont. His initial equipment is a Joyeuse, Swordbreaker, Kilimweave Shirt/Chanter's Djellaba, Topkapi Hat/Lambent Hat, and a Tourmaline Ring. The weapons Larsa uses, the Joyeuse and the Swordbreaker, are high tier weapons in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift. Larsa's battle style is reminiscent of the Archadian Judges', especially Gabranth's, wielding a weapon in each hand.
The Zodiac versions feature a number of changes. While the original version has him with a limitless supply of Hi-Potions and X-Potions, the International version has him use the potions from the player's inventory, but compensates by giving him many additional abilities, such as as Cura. His gambits are fixed in the original PlayStation 2 version, but malleable in the Zodiac versions. In the Zodiac versions, Larsa can reach flying enemies with his normal attack.
His victory pose is to draw his Joyeuse rapier to the front. As a guest character, he cannot be customized, use the License Board, or use Quickenings.

Quests[]
"Lamont" joins the party in Bhujerba, when the only playable area the player can enter is the Lhusu Mines. He accompanies the party as a guest until they run into Ba'Gamnan; Lamont then leaves the party and flees, telling the others to follow suit. The player can then flee like Lamont, or fight Ba'Gamnan's gang.
Larsa's bodyguard Judge Hausen.
Larsa joins as a guest again in Jahara, this time under his proper name. If the player returns to Jahara after entering Eruyt Village the first time, the party can find one of Larsa's retainers, Judge Hausen, who gives three Hi-Potions and an Ether. At the conclusion of the Henne Mines event, Larsa takes back the Manufacted Nethicite accessory he had gifted Penelo earlier in a cutscene. Larsa leaves the party as they meet with Anastasis in Mt Bur-Omisace, with Judge Hausen also leaving Jahara.
Orthros can appear even if the party has Larsa as a guest.
Larsa appears as an uncontrollable ally character (akin to the ones Clan Centurio sends to some Elite Hunts) aboard the Sky Fortress Bahamut in the first fight against the final boss.
