Final Fantasy XI spellKurayami: Ni
|Effect||Blinds an enemy.|
|Casting Time||1.5 Seconds|
|Recast Time||45 Seconds|
Kurayami: Ni is a Ninjutsu spell in Final Fantasy XI that blinds a single enemy. The blindness from this particular spell reduces an enemy's accuracy by 30. This spell is the higher-level version of the spell Kurayami: Ichi. It costs 1 Sairui-ran tool to cast.
The the minimum blindness effect of the Black Magic spell Blind II is only half as powerful as Kuraymi: Ni (Blind II lowers an enemy's accuracy by 15 at minimum; the maximum is unknown). Blind II will not overwrite this spell's blind effect, suggesting that this spell might be stronger than Blind II can be.
Etymology[edit | edit source]
Kurayami is Japanese for "darkness".
Sairui-ran roughly translates as "eggshell bomb." A sairuidan is a teargas bomb, and ran is an egg, so a sairui-ran would be an eggshell filled with teargas.
