Kunoichi/Masamune
Kunoichi is a boss in Final Fantasy III. She is not very strong, usually attacking, but sometimes uses magic. It is worth noting that she can strike up to three times per turn. A good strategy is to strike either with physical attacks or Black Magic, healing the entire party with a Devout in every turn. When she is defeated, the party receives the Masamune.

Etymology[]
Kunoichi (くノ一?) is a Japanese term for a female ninja. The characters which make up kunoichi are a mix of hiragana (く, ku?), katakana (ノ, no?), and kanji (一, ichi?); thought to be because they resemble the strokes from the kanji for "woman" (女, onna?).
