Stats[]

Battle[]

Kujata's battle centers around the elements Fire Fire, Ice Ice, and Lightning Lightning. Kujata starts off in his normal form where he only uses physical attacks. Eventually, it will summon crystals to ram into and gain the power of the elements. When it assumes the power of the elements, its affinities change to absorb that element and it becomes weak to the opposing element. E.g. when Kujata gains the Lightning element, it absorbs Lightning and becomes weak to Wind. (Interestingly, when Kujata has both Fire and Ice active, Kujata will be weak to both elements instead of absorbing them.) Kujata will attempt to gain every single power to prepare for his ultimate attack, Tri-Disaster, which hits all targets three times with each element.

Strategy[]

It is recommended to have Fire Materia Fire Materia, Ice Materia Ice Materia, and Wind Materia Wind Materia materia to exploit the weaknesses of Kujata's different forms. Lightning Materia Lightning Materia is not that useful here because Kujata is never weak to Lightning. Considering the importance of elements in this fight, Yuffie is an obvious pick because of her Elemental Ninjutsu.

Etymology[]

Kuyūthā (Arabic: كيوثاء), also known as Kujata and Kujūta, is a cosmic bull in Arabian mythology who stands on the enormous fish Bahamut (compare Leviathan and Behemoth). Kuyūthā has four thousand eyes, and the equal amount of ears, mouths, noses, tongues, and feet, with a distance of a journey of 500 years between each of them (e.g. from eye to eye). On the back of Kuyūthā is a giant mountain of ruby, and on top of that mountain is an angel, who supports six Hells, the Earth, and seven Heavens.
