Template:FFIV:TAY Enemies Kraken is a boss from Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. It is fought on one of the first floors in the Depths of the True Moon.
Battle
It is advisable to battle Kraken during a Waxing Moon, which increases White Magic and decreases Black Magic. Kraken's attacks include Blizzaga (which he can group cast), Tsunami although he has to charge up first, and he also counters with Bile and Constrict.
You should try to equip thunder equipment and cast Thundaga on it. You should win in no time although watch out for Tsunami since it does 2000+ damage to everybody, which you should heal with your White Mage quickly.
