Kingdom of Ephramad

The Kingdom of Ephramad (イフラマド王国, Ifuramado Ōkoku?) is the name of a former nation that existed on the Near East islands now dominated by the Empire of Aht Urhgan in Final Fantasy XI. The Kingdom of Ephramad was a relatively small nation which dominated the seas and, despite the difference in size, was once an equal in power to the Empire. Now, at the time of the game's setting, one would have a tough time finding any evidence that it ever existed, as it was destroyed in some conflict long ago by Aht Urhgan. Its currency, marked by a dolphin crest, is illegal and even owning it could be considered a crime.
