Want me to rig you a bomb to get back at 'em?
Keough to Evan Townshend
Keough is a resident of Doyleville who specializes in explosives. He appears in Final Fantasy VII The Kids Are Alright: A Turks Side Story.
History[]
Keough was a friend of Thropp, a man whom the Turks had hired to guard their developmental geostigma drug. Keough, Fabio Braun, and Thropp devised a plan to steal some medicine for Fabio's geostigma-afflicted brother Bits Braun. They were successful, but Thropp was captured. The Turks tracked Fabio to Doyleville and Keough pointed them toward Evan Townshend's home. He apologized to Evan afterward and offered to build a bomb for revenge.
Keough, Fabio, and the headman Doyle later attempted to rescue Thropp at Healen Lodge. Keough provided the explosives used to break Thropp out. Evan and Kyrie Canaan, who were at Healen to meet Rufus Shinra, arranged for the Turks to let them leave in exchange for Rufus' life. Doyle then drove Keough, Fabio, Evan, and Kyrie back to Doyleville. While Kyrie stayed with Evan at Dr. Drake's clinic, Keough and the others returned to Doyle's home to sleep. Doyle was then contacted by the Turks, and learned that their explosion had destroyed important medical equipment. As payment, Doyle, Keough, and Thropp agreed to work on the Meteor monument construction team in Edge.
Dr. Drake received word from Evan's previous doctor that he required surgery. Since Evan was away, Drake alerted Fabio. Fabio and Keough planned to steal a helicopter from the Turks. They snuck close and when Rude went to investigate, they threw dynamite at him. Rude quickly threw it back towards them, and the two were killed in the blast.
Characteristics[]
Keough is described as small and scruffy, approximately the same age as Evan during the events of The Kids Are Alright. He has bristly, unkempt hair that makes his head look too large for his body. He often wears a pair of dirty gray overalls.
