The Kelpie is an enemy in Final Fantasy III. It is of no threat to the party when fought, and in the 3D version, it is weak to Lightning-elemental attacks. Physical attacks, however, are more than enough to defeat it.
Its concept artwork shows a female warrior riding it, but she does not appear in-game.
