Katana of the Warrior (闘王の刀, Tatakae-ō no Katana?, lit. Katana of the War King) is a recurring katana in the Final Fantasy series associated with Noctis Lucis Caelum and the kings of Lucis.

Katana of the Warrior is a royal arm found in imperial lands, and is known as the only royal arm entombed in Niflheim. Noctis and his retinue venture out to salvage it at Fodina Caestino, where the tomb is blocked by a malboro. It is a longsword that attacks quickly and relentlessly after startup, and can spam warp-strikes lightning-fast. Only Noctis can wield it in normal gameplay, though Ignis briefly wields it during Armiger Chain.

Katana of the Warrior (XV) is a LD Sword for Ardyn that enables access to the LD ability, Dark Tornado, as well as the abilities Mighty Dark Tornado, Overkill Longer, and Charged Dark Tornado. It provides 87 HP, 62 DEF, 265-339 iBRV, 2982-3432 mBRV, 982-1132 ATK, and adds 90-100 CP.
