Kanos, Kyneugh, and Tierce are members of the Ravens, a squad of genetically altered soldiers. Fuhito created the group in order to pursue Shinra Electric Power Company and defend AVALANCHE.

All three Ravens seem to be named after Star Wars characters: Kir Kanos, Myn Kyneugh, and Grodin Tierce.
