History[]
When the two skipped a grade and entered the Studium in Sharlayan, they started living in a dorm and stopped seeing each other. Upon entering the Studium, the two went about their own business and rarely saw each other. Though Kagura won her Archon's mark earlier than Mikoto, she incurred the ire of the Forum for openly criticizing their policies and was ultimately stripped of her title. She left Sharlayan in disgust, and has not been seen since.[1]
Characteristics[]
Mikoto and Kagura were identical twins, yet Kagura's personality was the exact opposite of Mikoto, who was kind and natural, and had nothing in common with her other than being greedy for knowledge. She was a sarcastic person and in debates could dominate her opponent. Her grades were good, and she obtained the degree of Archon before her younger sister. She could not be said to get along with her younger sister Mikoto, and by the time she could remember, the sisters had already stopped talking and were like strangers.[1]
Etymology[]
[view · edit · purge]Kagura is a specific type of Shinto theatrical dance, a ceremonial art that has evolved in many directions over the span of a millennium. Today it is a living tradition with rituals tied to the rhythms of the agricultural calendar, as well as vibrant Kabuki-esque theatre.
