Jura Aevis (ジュラエイビス, Juraeibisu?), also known as JuraAvis or Juravis, is a recurring enemy in the Final Fantasy series.

Final Fantasy V

Main article: Jura Aevis (Final Fantasy V)

Jura Aevis appears as a boss in the Interdimensional Rift, appearing after the party defeats Alte Roite. It has an arsenal of elemental attacks that target all party members. It can also use Entangle to paralyze a target and Maelstrom, which reduces HP to single digits. Inflicting Berserk on Alte Roite will prevent it from turning into Jura Aevis.

Final Fantasy XIV

Jura Aevis is an enemy encountered in The Stone Vigil (Hard). Additionally, the boss Alte Roite encountered in Deltascape V1.0 is based on the Final Fantasy V Jura Aevis, where it is the transformed form of Alte Roite.

Final Fantasy Tactics

The Jura Aevis is the weakest member of the Aevis family, but its physical attacks are still quite strong. They have incredible mobility and can fly over other units.
