Stats
Battle
The jumbo flan only uses physical attacks. It resists all weapons besides the royal arms. There is a tower the player can point-warp to on the huntsground. The flan slaps with its stretchy arms and energizes the tips of them with darkness. Its lunge attack can be blocked and parried. It jumps and flops down to deal damage to everyone in its vicinity. It spots yellow globs from its mouth.
Strategy
The player can use elemancy and the royal arms to deal normal damage. The player should be on the defense, as the flan's attacks will knock Noctis down and it has a fair bit of reach. Using royal arms for parrying does not cost HP.
Etymology
The word Flan refers to an open pastry or sponge cake containing a sweet or savory filling. A typical flan of this sort is round, with shortcrust pastry, usually coated with sweet syrup. It is similar to a custard tart or a South African melktert.
