A rebel agent who lived in the cold northern village of Salamand. Firion and his party came to Josef's aid after imperial forces took his daughter hostage, and in gratitude he joined them.

Description

Josef is a recruitable character in Final Fantasy Record Keeper unlocked in Snow Cavern on Classic in the storyline of Final Fantasy II as the First Time Reward. He was also available via the Seer of Destiny Challenge Event, where he is also found in the Snow Cavern on the Classic difficulty track.

Josef is a Rebel Agent whose combat role is Physical Attack.

Josef is a Monk, and is likely the party's first. Josef possesses high Attack, but his defences are rather low. His HP isn't high for a monk either, more on a par with Tifa's than with some of the others in the class. Using Josef as a tank, therefore, is not recommended.

One notable thing about Josef is that even though he is mainly focused on dealing damage, all of his soul breaks support the party in some way. Therefore, when a battle calls for a brawler who can also help the party well, Josef should be one to consider deploying.
