Jingi is a Deepground soldier with the rank of scout, the second to last lowest rank. He is exclusive to the online multiplayer mode of Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII-, where he gives the player character missions.

History[]

Jingi is a Deepground scout who is addicted to mako and suffers from mako poisoning. As a result, he is prone to bouts of vomiting. Jingi's mako addiction was occasionally relevant to his missions. In one mission, he tasked the player character with defeating Banban-G, a Deepground commander. The commander allegedly had stolen an important book from Jingi about recreational mako usage. In another mission, the player was sent to a recreation of a mako-induced nightmare Jingi had experienced.

During a weapons test for the Black Widow robot, scientists indicated that they planned to integrate a human brain into the AI. Jingi was selected for this procedure, and a moogle doll was left in his place. Half of Jingi's brain was combined with a Black Widow bot. This iteration of Jingi is referred to as Black-J.

Characteristics[]

Jingi typically wears a Deepground scout uniform, consisting of a brown and gray suit, work boots, tie, and beret. The Black-J form inhabits the body of a Black Widow. As its name suggests, it is a spider-like robot.
