Jeopardize (ブレイクチェーン, Bureiku Chēn?, lit. Break Chain) is a recurring support ability in the Final Fantasy series originating from the Lightning Saga games, associated with the Commando role. It helps build chain on a staggered enemy, dealing even more damage faster.

Jeopardize is a passive ability for the Commando. When attacking a staggered foe, attacks gain increased chain bonus. Every party member learns it, but at different Crystarium levels: Sazh on Stage 6, Lightning and Vanille on Stage 7, and Snow, Hope, and Fang on Stage 8.
Final Fantasy XIII-2[]
Jeopardize is a hidden ability for Paradigm Pack monsters obtained by infusing a Commando monster with Ravager monsters of any variety with a combined level of 99. It boosts the chain bonus of a staggered target upon attacking.

Jeopardize is an ability learned by Graceful Champion Fang at level 105 (7★). It costs 76 MP to use and deals 8 hits of physical damage with a modifier of 70x to one enemy, in addition to increasing LB gauge by 4-5 and increasing LB damage by 150% which cannot be dispelled for 5 turns to the caster. It uses the Absolute Mirror of Equity chaining family.
