Japa Mala (百八の数珠, hyaku hachi no juzu?, lit. 108 Beads), also known as 108 Gems, is a recurring accessory in the series.

Japa Mala is an accessory that provides immunity to Undead, Vampire, Toad, and Poison, as well as increasing the power of all the user's elemental attacks. It can be bought for 15,000 gil at Orbonne Monastery.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius[edit | edit source]

A string of beads made from 108 linden seeds that was brought from the distant world of Ivalice. In Ivalice, it is known to be a very useful bracelet that can be worn by any profession. The power it holds is not the same as in Ivalice, and instead holds the power to increase the wearer's ATK and MAG.


Japa Mala is an accessory that is obtained as Mercenary Ramza's Trust Master. It provides +20% HP, MP, ATK, and DEF, as well as 3 DEF.

A Japa mala or mala is a string of prayer beads commonly used by Hindus, Buddhists and some Sikhs for the spiritual practice known in Sanskrit as japa. It is usually made from 108 beads, though other numbers are also used. Malas are used for keeping count while reciting, chanting, or mentally repeating a mantra or the name or names of a deity.
