Jambiya (ジャンビーヤ, Janbīya?) is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series. It is generally either a weak or powerful knife or dagger, depending on the game, that boosts good attack power and tends to increase Speed and Evasion.

Jambiya is a dagger that provides 33 damage, 201 delay, HP +20, and enhances Resist Virus" effect. It deals 9.85 damage per second and accumulates 55 TP per hit. It can be equipped by level 73 Warrior, Thief, Paladin, Dark Knight, Bard, Ranger, Samurai, Ninja, Dragoon, Corsair, Puppetmaster, and Dancer. It can only be obtained through synthesis.

Final Fantasy XIV[]

The Jambiyas are a pair of Rogue's Arm Rogue's Arms for Ninja Ninjas. They can be obtained from stone vigil, either as a treasure, a drop from the bosses Chudo-Yudo or Isgebind, or a reward for completion of the duty.

Janbiya is the Arabic term for dagger, but it is generally used to describe a specific type of dagger with a short curved blade that is worn on a belt.
