J'nangho is a non-player character in Final Fantasy XIV. She is a member of Adventurers' Guild and a Chaperone of the Moonfire Faire.
History[]
Moonfire Faire 2014[]
At the request of the Adventurers' Guild, the Warrior of Light met with the chief chaperone Haermaga. He is a bit vague about the reason for these festivities, but is quite clear on the matter of reward. In exchange for participation in three events, Haermaga promised to reward with a special costume. Haermaga directed the Warrior of Light to meet with the chaperones Mayaru Moyaru, Ethelia and J'nangho, each responsible for one of the events.[1] J'nangho was in charge of the event named "A Very Cherry Bomb". It consisted of throwing Bombardment into mortars for them to shoot off fireworks.[2]
Moonfire Faire 2016[]
Haermaga said that the Bombard King had risen again and that he and some members of the Adventurers' Guild intended to end his reign before it began. He asked Warrior of Light to help the group they call the Go Go Posing Rangers in their training to defeat the bombardier. Haermaga asked that he begin working with the Red Ranger immediately and directs the Warrior of Light to J'nangho.[3]
J'nangho says that the Red Ranger has been busy honing his ability to extinguish fires on smoking mannequins. Believing that a little friendly competition is just what he needed to speed up his training, she tells to follow him in an elbst and try to put out the mannequin flames before he does. J'nangho instructs Warrior of Light to talk to the guild creator, Wunthyll, to borrow an elbst.[4]
J'nangho became concerned that the Black Ranger would overexert himself trying to complete her regular training regimen. After trying and failing to convince the obstinate Ranger to wait for the heat to subside, she asked Warrior of Light to deliver three cups of shaved rolanberry ice so that the Black Ranger will not succumb to the summer heat.[5]
J'nangho told how the Yellow Ranger has perfected a deadly new attack named "Triple Majestic Slash Attack" and he swears that its power is such that it can easily take down any Bombards that are unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end. J'nangho has secretly requested that the Warrior of Light weaken some Bombards so that the Yellow Ranger can test his new technique.[6]
Moonfire Faire 2018[]
Haermaga reveals that they have built an obstacle course as the centerpiece of this year's festivities. The organizers of the event believe that the sight of members of the Adventurers' Guild risking their lives to complete an increasingly difficult series of challenges will inspire the younger generation to one day become adventurers.[7]
Beaudefoin was the guide on the way, he explained the simple rules of the Eorzean Nimble Warrior course. Each of the three sections was led by a Moonfire Faire chaperone. J'nangho was the first chaperone. Upon witnessing his completion of the first test, J'nangho is pleased, but not surprised. She warns that greater challenges must be overcome to reach Hildelana's platform at the end of the second stretch. Arriving at the second goal, Hildelana quickly presents the final course. P'obyano was the final chaperone, she applauds the Warrior of Light for completing the challenge.[8]
Moonfire Faire 2019[]
J'nangho was in charge of the "Angling Extravaganza" fishing event. The event consisted of J'nangho asking for a specific fish and the participant bringing it to her.[9]
