Izo is a character in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. He is a weaponsmith living in the jungle near Gongaga, although he is originally from Junon. He appears to be based on the weapon seller character from the original Final Fantasy VII. He is a quest client who forges Barret a new weapon.

Izo is a large man with brown hair who wears round glasses. He wears a light brown shirt and black pants under a large brown leather apron. He also wears a white kerchief around his head, brown leather gloves, and brown slip-on sandals.

Gameplay

Izo can be visited from chapter 9, "The Planet Stirs", onward, in his house in the middle of Gongaga jungle. Eyeing at Barret's gun-arm, he is inspired to create an "ultimate weapon" if the party deliver him the materials he needs. The player can follow polaroid picture clues to the materials' location, though they can simply head straight to the final location if they know the way.
