Iron Pole (鉄棒 or 鉄棍, Tetsubō?) is a recurring weapon in the series.

Iron Pole is a mid-ranked pole that provides 51 Attack, 25 Evade, 30 CT, 12% Combo Rate, and can inflict Slow at a 10% chance. It requires the Poles 3 License in order to equip, and can be bought for 5,300 gil at Rabanastre, Nalbina Fortress, and Mt Bur-Omisace, dropped from Clay Golem (3% chance), or bought from the Bazaar from the "Iron-forged Pole" pack.
In the Zodiac versions, it now provides 46 Attack, 30 Evade, 25 CT, 15% Combo Rate, has 10% chance of inflicting Slow and requires the Poles 3 License for 35 LP. It can be bought for 4,230 gil at Jahara and Mt Bur-Omisace, dropped from Clay Golem (3% chance) or Great Malboro (1% chance), bought from the Bazaar from the "Iron-forged Pole" pack, or found in Giza Plains during the rainy season at Gizas North Bank, or at the Zertinan Caverns (Halls of Ardent Darkness). It is also a treasure in Trial Mode in Stage 43 (with Diamond Armlet).

Iron Pole is a mid-ranked pole that provides 40 Attack, 2 Defense, and 2 Speed, and teaches the ability Life's Embrace for 250 AP to the Geomancer. It can be equipped by the Geomancer, Master Monk, Dancer, Heritor, and Chocobo Knight classes. It can be obtained from the Bazaar from the "Uncommon Poles D" set.

Iron Pole is a level 1 pole that provides +11 Attack, +35 Bravery, and -159 HP. It can be obtained from the shop by trading 4,090 gil.
