The Iron Giants are field bosses in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers.
The Iron Giants first appears to be sleeping in the prairie. To awaken it, the player has to lock onto the cogwheel and spin it around, and, after, keep him up by charging him. Once he wakes up, the battle will begin.
Battle[]
The Iron Giant has a powerful but easy to evade vertical sword attack, a harder to avoid horizontal sword attack, a strong rush attack, and a devastating laser attack which he fires when it is fully charged (when the gears in his mouth are spinning fast and glowing). It is possible to heavily damage him by lowering his visor right before he fires his laser.
Strategy[]
The fastest way of recharging him is by attacking him with a Coeurl's Lightning Blast attack which can also deal a nice amount of damage. One can also use the Magic Coal around him to damage him and charge him at the same time.
Etymology[]
Giant is the English word, coined 1297, commonly used for such beings, derived from one of the most famed examples: the gigantes of Greek mythology.
The mythology and legends of many different cultures include monsters of human appearance but prodigious size and strength.
