I couldn't finish 'em. Looks like this's gonna get complicated.
Template:FFV Enemies Iron Claw is a boss in Final Fantasy V. It tries to stop the party from escaping Karnak Castle before it blows up. To encounter it, the player must defeat the Cur Nakks surrounding a Sergeant and the Sergeant will transform into the Iron Claw.
Battle
Even with the time limit, this is an easy battle. It has low stats and no immunities. The encounter is an opportunity to learn the Blue Magic spell Death Claw, which reduces the target's HP to single digits and paralyzes it. Certain bosses found after Iron Claw are not immune to this spell. It is also possible to skip this encounter by killing the Sergeant while there is still at least one Cur Nakk alive; however, this will prevent the player from encountering the Iron Claw forever.
