Intersecting Wills (交錯する意志, Kōsakusuru Ishi?) are the third type of storyline content in Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia, focusing on the journeys of select characters and their companions in the new world.
Overview[]
Intersecting Wills can be accessed after completing Ch. 1: Primus Island and recruiting the event's featured character. They are permanent story chapters with their own dedicated field maps, cutscenes, and Hard Mode difficulties. Permanent and limited-time mission rewards are also available for completion of battles throughout the map. As before, completing battles on Hard Mode also completes their Normal Mode versions and stacks corresponding rewards. An Event Mission series is also available from the Missions menu in the first two weeks of release, for a chance at Event Multi Draw tickets and other items; to complete the series, the player must complete certain boss quests without a support unit (conditions previously seen in LUFENIA-era Challenge Quests).
As part of the monthly content schedule, Intersecting Wills feature special event draws for their boosted characters, one of whom will have a new LD, FR, and/or BT weapon added. Other characters who have their BT weapon(s) featured on the previous event or upcoming special banner are boosted for the standard first two weeks of the event's debut.
