The Imperial Trooper is an enemy in Final Fantasy XV fought in imperial bases and throughout Duscae during Chapter 5. Imperial trooper doesn't have a bestiary entry even if it is the "quintessential" member of the imperial infantry, its model appearing in some story scenes to represent the empire.
In the Japanese localization, the Imperial Trooper's name is the same as the Imperial Rifleman; the two enemies are largely interchangeable.
Stats[]
Battle[]
Imperial troopers are found occupying the rainy Duscae region in Chapter 5. They stand afar to fire ballistic damage at the party. They back away when near and when forced into melee-range they use their firearm for a melee weapon. They are weak to firearms, shields and fire and resist lightning.
Strategy[]
They are not notable enemies and are easily defeated by warp-strikes and other means. They tend to stay together with their kind which makes them vulnerable for elemancy, although fire magic won't be optimal when they are fought in the rainy weather as part of the story.
Other appearances[]
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius[]
The Imperial Rifleman/Trooper, localized as the Imperial Soldier, appears as an enemy during the Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV "Battle at the Borders" event.
