This is mostly true for quests or purchasing certain items or services, but most every vendor and [[NPC]] in Aht Urhgan and the other minor cities of the East use [[gil]], the traditional currency for all Final Fantasy games.
 
 
Imperial currency may be purchased with [[Imperial Standing]] for the following rates. The exchange rate between currencies is exactly as you would expect looking at the chart below, even if it does not match any sensible or pre-existing formula. Five copper is one silver. Two silver is one mythril. Five mythril is one gold.
