Beta
Subspecies of imp found amid the darkest depths of the Balouve Mines. While imps are ordinarily regarded as bottom dwellers in the daemon ecosystem, these particular imps have risen to the test of their cruel environs, carving out their own niche in the process.

Battle[]

Imp-Attack-FFXV

Imp attacks.

Imps are weak to ice, daggers and firearms, and can poison the player. Though they are a stronger variation of goblins, they are among the weak enemies in the dungeons where they are fought. They sit on a floating crescent, which they can use for melee attacks and knock back the party.

Strategy[]

The player can equip Star Pendants to avoid being poisoned, or eat foods that provide Poisonproof or Resilient. However, Poison is also easily ignored until the end of battle. Imps are weak to daggers and ice, making character-swapping to Ignis a good option, but Noctis is also strong and fast with daggers, although he never triggers linked attacks with them.
