A triad of Lv.23 imps fights in Duscae Deathmatch in Totomostro during the nighttime under the team name Moon Barkers.

Bestiary

Alpha
Daemon nuisance that lurks in Lucian dungeons, and particularly common to the caves of Duscae. The imp relies primarily on its claws for close-quarter melee, but is capable of harnessing and emitting luminous energy from its fingertips at a distance.
Size: 4.49 ft. Weight: 82.0 lb.
Beta
Subspecies of imp found amid the darkest depths of the Balouve Mines. While imps are ordinarily regarded as bottom dwellers in the daemon ecosystem, these particular imps have risen to the test of their cruel environs, carving out their own niche in the process.
Size: 4.65 ft. Weight: 84.4 lb.

Battle

Imps are weak to daggers and firearms, and can poison the player. Though they are a stronger variation of Goblins, they are among the weak enemies in the dungeons where they are fought. They sit on a floating crescent, which they can use for melee attacks and knock back the party.

Strategy

The player can equip Star Pendants to avoid being poisoned, or eat foods that provide Final Fantasy XV statuses#Poisonproof or Resilient. The Imps are weak to daggers and ice, making character-swapping to Ignis an option, but Noctis is also strong and fast with daggers, although he never triggers link-strikes with them.
