Ice Strike (冷徹なる一撃, Reitetsunaru Ichigeki?, lit. Cool-headed Blow) is a recurring Limit Break closely associated with Edea Kramer. Originally from Final Fantasy VIII, it is a powerful magic attack that involves hurling icicles at an opponent.
Appearances
Final Fantasy VIII
Ice Strike is Edea's Limit Break, and is the only subset of her Sorcery skillset. It is a powerful ability with an attack power of 120, and unaffected by Crisis Level. Despite its appearance, it isn't actually ice-elemental. As Edea is only briefly playable, the ability is not available for long. The ability is not used by Edea when fought as a boss, but she does use it in a cutscene where she unleashes it towards Squall, piercing his right shoulder and incapacitating him.
