Ice, also known as ICE, is an element in Final Fantasy. Ice is the worst of the three offensive elements, as significantly fewer enemies are weak against it while it is just as heavily resisted as Fire, though it is situationally useful in Mount Gulg, which has the greatest concentration of Ice-weak enemies. Ice resistance is also lacking defensively, as fewer enemies are capable of inflicting Ice damage.

Status-inflicting attacks[]

Due to a bug in the original release, the element(s) of status-inflicting regular attacks became those that the user was weak against instead of the element normally associated with the status. The status-inflicting attacks below became Ice-elemental as a result of this bug. This bug was fixed in subsequent releases, and no enemies have Ice-elemental attacks.
