Hope Estheim (Record Keeper)

An ordinary, if somewhat sensitive, young boy. Hope and his mother were caught up in the Purge while sightseeing; Hope survived, his mother did not. He began to harbor a hatred against Snow, whose actions had inadvertently led to his mother's death.

Hope is a playable character in Final Fantasy Record Keeper who could be recruited during the Challenge Event Chasing Hope as the First Time Reward for completing the event's The Palamecia - Bow stage on the Classic difficulty. He was also available in Fang's Oath.

Profile[]

Though listed as a fighter-mage, Hope's stat growth favors attack magic. He's a direct complement to Vanille from the same Record Realm, who favors healing magic. Of the Lightning Saga's four dedicated Black Mages, Hope is by far the strongest in his discipline, and is the only full Summoner among them. His skillset favors Earth and Holy elements as well, but such weaknesses are often absent from foes in the Realm.

Abilities[]

Hope can use Black Magic abilities up to rarity rank 5, White Magic abilities up to rarity rank 4, Summoning abilities up to rarity rank 5, and Sharpshooter abilities up to rarity rank 5.

His default Soul Break is Fearsiphon, which at the expense of one Soul Gauge segment deals damage to the enemy and grants Haste to the user.
