Appearances[edit | edit source]
Final Fantasy[edit | edit source]
Holy Dragon is an enemy fought at Lifespring Grotto exclusive to the Game Boy Advance and later versions of the game. It fights using semi-powerful physical attacks and the Holy spell. It has the highest HP and Magic Defense of all the dragons fought in the room where Dark Bahamut lies, but is often fought alone.
Final Fantasy VI[edit | edit source]
Holy Dragon is an enemy fought at Cultists' Tower. It attacks only with Holy, making it one of the easiest of the Eight legendary dragons as the player can come into the battle with Auto-Reflect from the Reflect Ring. It has the lowest HP of the dragons and is also vulnerable to Silence. In the Game Boy Advance and later versions of the game, the player can refight it at the Dragons' Den, where it counters all attacks on it with Curaga and comes with Auto-Regen. In addition, it now attacks using powerful attacks such as Saintly Beam, Holy, Heavenly Wrath, and Heartless Angel.
Final Fantasy Tactics[edit | edit source]
Holy Dragon is an obtainable unit that fights using the three elemental abilities Fire Breath, Ice Breath, and Thunder Breath. Found in the lowest level of the Mining Town of Gollund, specifically the Gollund Coal Shaft. Upon completing Nelveska Temple with both the Holy Dragon and Beowulf still in the party's ranks, the Holy Dragon will become its human form, Reis. This is the only Holy Dragon in the entire game.
