Though it is a beautiful place, the footing can be treacherous, so it receives few visitors. Selkie boys, when they come of age, have a rite of passage where they run through this area blindfolded. Only those who traverse successfully are recognised as men.

A cove where due to its unique structure, the tide never ebbs. Within the cove there is a vast coral reef. Of special note is the fountain coral, which periodically sprays water out to the rhythm of the waves.

High Tide Cove is a location from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. It is a large coral reef-like area inhabited by Selkies. It can be reached by going through Hush-Hush Pond. Layle can reach the Selkie Guild from here by riding the Forbidden Falls.

A high tide is a state of tide. When the water rises to its highest level, it is called high tide.
