The Hellish Horse, also known as the HellHorse, is an enemy from Final Fantasy III, fought in the Cave of Shadows. It is one of the few enemies in the cave that does not divide when attacked and is one of the weaker enemies of the cave due to this. It is still, however, moderately powerful like all other enemies in the cave, so take care to not let a player's HP drop below 900. They tend to travel in groups with Haniels and Valefors, so have any non-Dark Knight or Ancient Sword wielder attack them instead.
In the DS remake, the Hellish Horse is much weaker and can be defeated relatively easily.
