Hell House is an enemy in Final Fantasy VII, and one of the more bizarre-looking ones: inside its house-looking shell, its true form is a three-armed mechanical creature that sports four legs and a set of mismatched thrusters. It is a powerful enemy for its area, Sector 6, and has high HP and attack.
The monster serves as a boss in Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Battle
Hell House has two forms, one where it is simply a house and one where it is more like a monster. When in house form it has access to two moves, Erupt and Hell Bomber. It has a 1/3 chance of using Erupt and a 2/3 chance of using Hell Bomber. Once it reaches 336 HP it has a 1/2 chance of using Suicide Drop. If it uses Suicide Drop it will inflict heavy damage upon the party, and cracks its outer shell, changing forms. Erupt inflicts standard damage and may inflict Darkness, Hell Bomber inflicts 1.5 times the damage of Erupt, and Suicide Drop never misses and inflicts Earth-elemental damage to all party members.
When it has changed forms Hell House's stats are boosted and it attacks differently and with different attacks altogether. The party will receive 200 gil instead of 250 if is defeated in battle. It has a 1/4 chance of using Suicide Drop, a 1/4 chance of using Hell Press, and a 1/2 chance of using Bodyblow. It has access to a counter move, Lunattack, which it has a 1/4 chance of using when its health is below 25%. Bodyblow inflicts 2.5 times standard damage, Hell Press inflicts 1.5 times standard damage, Suicide Drop as before never misses and inflicts Earth-elemental damage to all party members, and Lunattack inflicts 1.75 times standard damage.
Strategy
It can be considered a mild threat if not handled properly and is much more powerful than the enemies encountered in this area of the game. It is first fought when the player only has Cloud and Aeris in the party. Aeris can concentrate on healing, and Cloud can use the Cover Materia to shield her.
AI script
There are two separate AI scripts for Hell House, the first version is the inanimate form found at the start of battle, and the second version is the animated form once it receives enough damage.
- First
2/3 Chance: Use Hell Bomber on random opponent
1/3 Chance: Use Erupt on random opponent

1/4 Chance: Use Hell Press on random opponent
