Chapter 3[]

The Warriors of Light discovered Heliogabalus when they explored Fabrica Cave. Sol assumes this is a warship due to its size. The team decides to bring it down. The doors to access further into the warship were blocked so Sol bashed one, triggering the alarm. The Warriors were attacked by soldiers but they defeated them. Going through many floors and mechanical systems, they made it to the Engine Room. Cid and Dr. Lugae were inside, Cid telling Dr. Lugae that somebody was coming and he would be reunited with his daughter soon.

The warriors, along with Argy, entered the room. Dr. Lugae called Argy but she did not recognize him. Cid revealed that Sarah was the second princess of Burtgang. Cid took control of Argy who mindlessly fought the Warriors, but regained consciousness and became unaffected by Cid's controls. Argy attacked Cid, who realized that Argy had developed feelings. He actived Argy-2 to attack the team. Argy and her counterpart clashed, but Argy-2 gained the advantage. The team, along with Argy, defeated Argy-2, but Cid escaped during the fight.

FFD Heliogabalus exploding

Heliogabalus readies to explode.

Argy was badly damaged. She recognized Dr. Lugae as her father and thanked Sol and Sarah for bringing her back to him. Argy's soul turned into a crystal and gave the Warriors Memorist power. The ship malfunctioned and began to explode.

They escaped to a secret passage which led to a battleship. Dr. Lugae told them that the airship Heliogabalus was Avalon's ultimate weapon with Argy being its heart. Since Cid had made a copy of Argy, the Heliogabalus would be deployed shortly. They set sail to Berth. Sarah recalled the emperor ordering his soldiers to protect her. They docked at Berth and Dr. Lugae would be leaving shortly as the empire had started searching for this battleship.

Chapter 4[]

FFD approaching Heliogabalus

Dr. Lugae's ship approaching Heliogabalus.

While the Warriors of Light were e talking to Sophia, Mysidia was attacked by the Heliogabalus. Lugae suggested them to make their way to the back of the warship and infiltrate the engine room. They used Dr. Lugae's airship and dropped down to the aft side of Heliogabalus's deck. Dr. Lugae contacted them to head north through a door to enter the warship.

As they made their way to the engine room, a solder triggered the alarm. After dealing with the enemies, they came to an iron gate. Dusk contacted Dr. Lugae for password and they moved forward. Another solder spotted them and they have to deal with a machine. They encountered another gate and Dr. Lugae helped them open it. They encountered a third gate. Dr. Lugae bypassed the password but the gate was ambushed by three androids. Argy talked to the androids through the whisperweed and persuaded them that the warriors were friends. The warriors left the whisperweed there for Argy to talk to the androids while they kept moving. They encountered Vata, who challenged them was defeated. They headed for the engine room, where Shango challenged them. They were merely defeated until the entire warship burst out in flame.

FFD Heliogabalus Life Raft

Cid and the Warriors of Light on the Life Raft.

Dusk mysteriously told Shango that they were just decoys. He disappeared and the warriors made it to a life raft. Cid ordered several Argy's clones to strike the warriors but they refused as they considered them friends. Cid reluctantly allowed the warriors to take control of the raft, which had malfunctioned and could not start. The warriors headed to Heliogabalus's deck while Cid stayed behind with the androids.

Dr. Lugae's ship approached the Heliogabalus to pick the warriors up but it could not get close enough. Vata mocked them and changed to a Dragoon and jumped high, reaching the other ship. The warriors did the same but Sarah fell off Dr. Lugae's ship. Barbara and her dragon came right on time to save her. Vata, who had become a traitor, disappeared again while Barbara returned to Dragon Roost. The team headed back to Mysidia.
