Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow. (Skip section)

At a young age, Helena read the auto-biography of the legendary explorer Montana, called "Montana's Adventure Log". She then decided to follow in his footsteps and become an adventurer herself, at which time she left her hometown. Though not particularly adept at fighting, she relies on her own quick wittedness during her journey.

A little before Rain's party steps foot into Gronoa, Helena had been there investigating on her own. She examines an underground castle, accompanied by a mercenary named Camille; she came across the dwelling an elven couple (a nowadays rarely seen race), Lunera and Bran as well as an important document detailing one of their friends, the famous dwarf called Ruggles. Eventually, the stories she discovered would come to be known by everyone around the world.

Helena meets the party at the Realm of the Dragon King.
