Heavy Sallet is an enemy in Final Fantasy X-2, found in the Cactuar Hollow in the Bikanel Desert and Via Infinito. It is a larger version of the Sallet, thanks to the Cactuar's needles.

Battle[]
Heavy Sallet is the most powerful Helm fiend. It has high HP, but low Magic Defense so magic is the best choice to defeat it.
Creature Creator[]
Heavy Sallet becomes available for capture with a Trap pod L in Chapter 5 after the player discovers the Cactuar Hollow.
Once recruited, it comes with Attack and Ailment Def. It can learn Quick Attack, Mighty Guard, Auto-Regen, Auto-Haste, and Total Limit Break in battle.
One may consider having the Heavy Sallet be a fast, pure physical attacker, using only Attack or Quick Attack on its turn. This can be achieved by having Heavy Sallet learn Total Limit Break, Auto-Haste, and Quick Attack in battle and then equipping it with a Rabite's Foot accessory (increases Luck by 100) and either a Ragnarok (for Spellspring) or the Font of Power Garment Grid (grants One MP Cost). If setup correctly, Heavy Sallet can easily trivialize Almighty Shinra and Chac by repeatedly attacking them in very rapid succession to prevent them from taking a turn by keeping them staggered. However, this setup won't work against enemies immune to physical attacks, most notably Aeshma and Protean Gel.
Fiend Tale[]
- It's... too cramped. Looks like I won't do well with the neighbors, either... I keep thinking I should say hi, but I just can't... I think I'm just too sensitive. I'll never make friends at this rate...
- I... I met someone in Kilika! I gathered up my courage and asked him to come over and hang out. He didn't seem sure, so I said he can bring friends, and then... They agreed! It's been so long since I've had this much fun! Oh... but this is a secret!
- Well, certainly, it was fun at first. I mean, they warmed up to the likes of me, after all. But today, again, they refuse to go home. And it seems like there's... more? At least smaller ones. If the Gullwings find out about this, will they... fire me?
- I've failed again... They've multiplied so much, I don't know what to do! The room is about to burst! What should I do? What should I do? What should I do...? Huh...? There seems to be some missing! Hey, don't go outside without asking! Heeey!
One notable Heavy Sallet befriended some monkeys on Kilika, resulting in both an infestation on the Celsius and his resignation from the Gullwings out of shame.
Etymology[]
sallet was a war helmet that replaced the bascinet in Italy, western and northern Europe and Hungary during the mid-15th century.
