Heavy Coat (バルキーコート, Barukī Kōto?) is a recurring piece of armor in the Final Fantasy series.

In the original version, Heavy Coat is a mid-ranked light armor that requires the Light Armor 4 license to equip, and provides 14 Defense and +120 HP. It can be bought for 1,400 gil at Rabanastre, Tomb of Raithwall, and Jahara, found as treasure at Giza Plains - The Rains (Starry Field), stolen from Zaghnal (3% chance), and earned by completing the hunt "The Cry of Its Power".

In the Zodiac versions, Heavy Coat can now be bought for 1,400 gil at Rabanastre, Nam-Yensa Sandsea, Tomb of Raithwall, Jahara, and Balfonheim Port, be found as treasure at Nam-Yensa Sandsea (Simoon Bluff) and Tomb of Raithwall (Southfall Passage), and be stolen from Zaghnal (3% chance). It is also a treasure in Trial Mode Stage 42 (with the Diamond Armlet).
