Head Hunter is an enemy from Final Fantasy VII. It only has physical attacks, and can be battled at any time after obtaining the Tiny Bronco in the Mideel Area. At this stage, it can be lethal. Often appearing in groups of three or four, they are fast and their physical attacks do around 300—350 points of damage.
By the time the party encounters them by following the game's natural progression in "A Shocking Reunion", a few castings of Trine, Aqualung, or Beta are more than enough to dispose of them.
Head Hunters attack in groups and give massive amounts of EXP and AP, making them ideal for level grinding.

Etymology[]
The enemy's Japanese name is derived from the English words "Neck Hunter". The localization changed "neck" to "head" to make it a pun on the English term "headhunter".
Headhunting is the practice of literally taking a person's head after killing them. Headhunter is also an informal name for an employment recruiter, sometimes referred to as executive search.
